Position Overview
ZenSynergy Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist or Psychiatrist (MD preferred) to join our pioneering team developing and implementing novel dual therapeutic modalities combining preconditioning with cannabis-assisted psychotherapy. This role offers the unique opportunity to be at the forefront of innovative mental health treatment while working with a revolutionary approach to psychedelic-assisted therapy.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership & Treatment Development
• Lead the clinical implementation of our proprietary dual-therapeutic approach combining FDA-approved preconditioning medications with cannabis-assisted psychotherapy
• Develop and refine treatment protocols for PTSD, depression, anxiety, addiction, and general wellness applications
• Oversee the three-stage therapeutic methodology: preconditioning, mental state preparation, and cannabis-assisted psychotherapy sessions
• Ensure clinical safety and efficacy standards throughout all treatment phases

Patient Care & Assessment
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and psychological assessments
• Prescribe FDA-approved repurposed therapeutics for preconditioning phase (MD required for prescriptive authority)
• Provide psychotherapy during both preconditioning and cannabis-assisted phases
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as needed
• Manage patient safety protocols and adverse event monitoring

Wellness Retreat Operations
• Lead clinical operations at wellness retreat locations in cannabis-legal states
• Provide on-site clinical supervision and emergency protocols
• Conduct virtual consultations for remote patients seeking treatment
• Develop and implement safety protocols for retreat-based therapeutic sessions

Research & Development
• Collaborate on research initiatives novel therapeutic modalities in neuroscience
• Document treatment outcomes and contribute to clinical data collection
• Support development of additional dual therapeutic combinations
• Contribute to peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations

Required Qualifications
Education & Licensing
• Preferred: MD in Psychiatry with active medical license
• Alternative: Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with appropriate state licensing
• Highly Preferred: Dual MD/Ph.D. credentials
• Current medical/psychological license in good standing
• DEA registration (for prescriptive authority)
Experience Requirements
• Minimum 5 years clinical experience in mental health treatment
• Required: Demonstrated experience with psychedelic-assisted therapy (psilocybin, MDMA, ketamine, ibogaine, or similar)
• Experience treating PTSD, depression, anxiety, and addiction disorders
• Background in cannabis or medical marijuana therapy preferred
• Experience with retreat-based or intensive therapy formats

Clinical Skills
• Expertise in psychotherapy modalities compatible with psychedelic-assisted treatment
• Experience with treatment-resistant populations, particularly veterans and first responders
• Telemedicine and virtual consultation experience
